Massachusetts’ last Republican senator

This Martin Luther King Day weekend the Jury Box raises a toast to Ed Brooke, the first black US Senator of the modern era, and the last Republican elected to the Senate from Massachusetts, in 1972.

Will the Bay State elect its first GOP senator since Ed Brooke on Tuesday? We shall see.
